Played in Thanet Leagues both Saturdays and Sunday’s for many years to a good standard reaching the Kent Cup Final on one occasion. 2017/2018 Season is my first as a Coach. Looking forward to attaining Level 1 as soon as possible. Love helping to develop the players. I have set up indoor training this season often assisted by Max and Harry where we regularly have enough for 3 teams.
Phil Stephens
Started playing aged 11 for Woodnesborough FC. Highest level played was for Woodnesborough in the Kent League. Played for a few other teams now and again before stopping at 27 because of an ACL injury. Began coaching with Monkton to try and give something back to football as all my previous coaches and managers had done for me. Due to my experiences as a youth and adult player in football it has showed me that young players can develop at different levels throughout their football careers and to never pigeon hole players into one specific position.
